| Alzheimers Care: ALI Specializes in Alzheimers care. Our aides are regularly trained on caring and providing for Alzheimers patients.Caregiver Selection: We carefully screen our caregivers, including thoroughly completing background checks, verifying work references, performing drug screens, and requiring the caregivers to undergo several interviews. Our caregivers are selected based on their experience, skill level and trustworthiness. All of our caregivers are our employees (no contractors). They are also bonded and insured with worker’s compensation and liability insurance.Longevity: We pride ourselves in being the first home care agency in Mooresville, NC. Combined, our staff has more than fifty years of experience in the health care industry. Other services included (but not limited to) are: PNA (Pediatric Nurse Aide) Care: We cater to children with special needs and medically fragile children. Our caregivers are CNA certified and must successfully complete all Pediatric Nurse Aide and G-TubeTraining – including a score of 85% or above on all exams. Our Pediatric Aides must be trustworthy and have a special love for children. Free Home Care Service:Often times, we receive calls from people who are in desperate need of our services, but cannot afford to pay the hourly rate. These same individuals, in many instances, do not meet the Medicaid requirements. As a result, their quality of life and health is dimished. They face frequent hospital visits due to fatal falls with their last destination being a nursing home. ALI has uniquely designed a way to provide such services – free of charge for those who qualify. Home Improvement: Partnering with various construction companies, we can perform interior/exterior renovations. Can build wheelchair ramps, widen doors, install grab rails. The idea is to make ones home safe and conducive to existing needs.Case Managers: Clients are immediately assigned to a case manager when he/she comes aboard. This case manager will work with the client’s family to personally address any issues or concerns the family may have during the ALI experience. |
