Pastor Brad Schaaf serves as Minister to the Deaf here at Pinedale Christian Church. Pastor Brad and Mrs. Tammy Schaaf are from Louisville, KY and we are thrilled they have joined our Pinedale family. Pastor Brad is eager to reach out to the Deaf community in our area.

Pinedale Christian Church Deaf Ministry exists to help people grow in their relationship with our Lord and connect with one another. We are dedicated to worshipping God in spirit and truth, teaching and proclaiming God’s Word and making disciples – all for the Glory of God!

You can reach Pastor Brad by email.

Pastor Brad preaches/teaches each Sunday morning at 9:15 am and each Wednesday evening from 6:45-8:00 pm in room 202. (Take the elevator to the 2nd floor turn left to enter the educational building and take the first hall on your left. Room 202 is the first door on your right.)

Come worship with us during the interpreted Sunday Morning 10:45 am SOMA service. Our church provides barrier-free worship for deaf and hearing people of all ages. SOMA is the Greek word for the Body, the Biblical concept of the church. SOMA is a vibrant and growing contemporary service. Come join us!

The Deaf Ministry seating area is located at the front lower level (baptistry side). The section is marked off (follow the signs) and we would love to have you join us!

Mission Statement

The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministry is inspired by the Holy Spirit to share the message of Christ. Through example and love, we reach out to our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to provide a committed body of believers, each with their own special gifts to bridge the differences in our cultures, and to grow together as one under our Lord.

“Jesus replied, ʻYou must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.ʼ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ʻLove your neighbor as yourself.ʼ” Matthew 22:37-39 NLT
