The 16 Cents Ministry is a compassion ministry based out of Faith Wesleyan Church in Greensboro, NC led by God and a great team of people. It is from this ministry that Church Under the Bridge in Greensboro has begun meeting each Saturday night at 300 Spring Garden Street (parking lot under a bridge) at 6pm. Church Under the Bridge is supported the churches of the area coming together as the Church to serve the least of these, as stated in Matthew chapter 25.
What happens Church Under the Bridge may look very familiar to many from the outside. Each week there is worship through music, prayer, and a message. However there is so much more that happens. While there, a meal is served to as many as 250+ people and still growing clothing, hygiene items, blankets, jackets, any type of nonperishable foods are handed out, as well as other needs being met. This is a church for the poor, homeless, passer-by, college students, and anyone who wants to worship Christ with fellow christian brothers and sisters.
