On behalf of Family Promise of Davie County, we invite you to support our inaugural Promise of Christmas gala. Please join us at Triple J Manor House on December 6th from 6-8pm. The evening will consist of catered food, live DJ, and a decorated tree auction. This event helps us raise the funds necessary to continue providing day and night shelter, transportation, intensive case management, and follow-up support for the families we serve. Come out, get your decorated Christmas tree, and give back to your community! We are excited to see you there!

Help Us Move In (HUMI)
We are here to make sure children and their families have a safe place to sleep at night. Our core program is the Interfaith Hospitality Network, which is made up of various volunteers and faith groups across the county. Once families apply and have been accepted into the program, they stay at a host congregation for one week at a time before moving to the next church. Volunteers provide families with hospitality and meals.
During the day families are shuttled to our day center where they have access to Wi-Fi, computers, telephones, showers, and laundry facilities. Families receive assistance finding housing, job skills training, financial management courses, and connection with other local resources.
While it’s our goal to ensure that every family in our community has a safe place to sleep at night, our program isn’t quite big enough to meet that need. We have the space to serve four families with children at a time through our Interfaith Hospitality Network (sheltering program). If your family is experiencing homelessness or needing assistance, please contact us!
- There are over 200 Family Promise affiliates in 42 states.
- This innovative approach enables our program to operate at a third or less of the budget of a traditional shelter.
