Greetings, together we can make a difference: August 10th 2015
We have an incredible opportunity to do something special in Nepal. Since 2/3rds of our congregation is Nepali, we have supported a Missionary named Daniel Limbu, who has a compound and orphanage right outside of Katmandu. His nick name is DK and he has ministered to our congregation upon several visits over the past 3 years. He is on the ground helping hundreds in the earthquake aftermath, with shelter, medical needs, blankets and food. Not only on his compound but he is reaching out to villages around the surrounding area to assist as much as he can.
On August 29th, we will be hosting A “Nepal REACH Day” to help our friend and those in much need. The event will be from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at the Rankin Memorial Mission Church, location, 314 Barker Avenue in High Point. This project is to help people in Nepal from all cultural backgrounds. Refugees are brought here because of persecution or ethnic cleansing. Our intention is to reach out in relationship and love. We want to put on an event that will show these precious souls here that we care about what happens in their Countries. Please, help us reach out in LOVE and you are welcome to be there that day. Our goal is $15,ooo to send to DK in Nepal for continued relief efforts. We have sent $1010 & will send more, as it comes in.
