About the Campaign
The Nuba mountains are home to one of Sudan’s largest community of Christians.
And today, their way of life is threatened.
The Nuba have been targeted for annihilation by Sudan’s Islamo-Fascists since 1989.
In 2011, the Sudan government re-launched a campaign of genocide and terror against the Nuba people, dropping more than 4,000 bombs on schools, churches, marketplaces and hospitals.
Many lives have been lost, and the international community has done little to help the Nuba people.
Critical supplies are still severely limited, including pharmaceuticals and access to medical treatment.
Courageous women like Medina struggle daily to provide for their families, educate their children, and just try to live a normal life.
Persecution Project Foundation has chosen to defy a government-imposed blockade and continue to stand alongside heroes like Medina.
In 2019, our priority is to expand and improve access to medical services to more Nuba women like Medina by helping to build a hospital in her community– including a Maternity Ward.
In fact, the first phase of construction is already complete!
Phase I construction of the Maternity Ward complete!
To complete Phase II of construction will require raising $83,600 for materials, labor, and transport.
